Hello Everyone,

I have been facing this random screen flickering at any point of time after starting my pc, it happened even when pc is on idle. It flickers with random colors like shown in photo and pc restarts automatically sometimes and sometimes it doesnt restart but normal screen comes back after a blackout and issue continues again randomly later. I was on latest GPU drivers when this first happened and i went back to 537. 58 too see if its a driver issue but its still happening with old drivers as well. Now this happens heavily right after I launch PUBG from steam, other games seems to be working fine but still happens after playing like 15mins or so.

I suspect my GPU is dying and its a hardware issue. I was wondering to reinstall the OS but i thought it cant be an OS issue so I am posting here to seek answers. My build is as below,

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
CPU cooler: CM Masterliquid ML120L
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO AC
Ram: G.skill Trident Z RGB Series 16GB (2x8GB) 3600 MHz DDR4 Memory F4-3600C18D-16GTZR
SSD/HDD: LITEON 120GB Sata SSD for OS + Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe + 2 other HDDs 7200 RPM
GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 AMP EXTREME (got it in 2016 end)
PSU: CM Masterwatt 650 Semi Modular (Got it in 2020)
Chassis: NZXT H510

Normally, I'd say its because of an aging PSU, but yours is fairly new, and the wattage rating can support this GPU. Just to make sure, if you have a spare or have one to borrow, try with the spare/borrowed PSU, to see if that's the problem.

If the issue still persists, I'm afraid its the GPU :(
