I used to have a gigabyte windforce gtx 660 which was perfectly running on my pc. I recently upgraded it to a saphire Rx 470 nitro(non plus). But all the games feel choppy(even small games like cod4) even though the fps is high and the games look pixelated. And in the amd fps monitoring tool the usages and temps n all Keep changing its never stable, sometimes the clocks go mad. I assume it could be a psu problem cause i have a unbranded said to be “600w” which is ofc a lie. But the thing that doesnt make sense it the gtx 660 worked perfectly but both are the same power usage right?
My specs are
I3 3220 3.30ghz(i know its a bottleneck im planning to buy a i5 3470)
Saphire nitro(non plus) rx470 4GB
Brandnew 256gb SSD in which th games are
WD 320GB HDD
Rexcool rx 4 600w psu(Chinese brand)
2 x 4GB DDR3 1333mhz Ram
Heres a video to the issue

Did you connect an 8pin (6+2) PCIe connector and not only a 6pin connector?

the 470 needs 35Watt more, could be the problem, or the temperature of the GPU/CPU is not ok anymore and is throttling the CPU or GPU while under load

use ddu uninstaller to remove all previous nvidia driver and the AMD GPU driver. Reinstall the latest from amd.com again.

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

yea its connected with a 8 pin.
btw this is an rx 470 not a 480.
the cpu temperature is under 70 and gpu is 65-75 which is normal for this gpu i guess.
i did uninstall all previous drivers using ddu.
and the whole pc felt a bit laggy since i plugged this card. guess its all in my head
but the games looked pixelated. anyways heres the benchmark

check the resolution of your desktop and the game

set it to 1920x1080 @60Hz

which monitor are you using and which video cable is connected to the RX 470? (was a typo previously, wattage is still correct +35W)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool

im using a dell e2010h which is 1600x900 @60hz connected using a dvi
hard drive contains no errors
memory has to be checked
those cmd commands dont report any errors
recently the game starts to flicker and then freezes and the screen becomes black with the sound running in the background. nothing works after that except to restart the pc
even though i get good fps it isnt smooth
