i think its low but I am unsure whether its my 1080 or my cpu

Why do you have 3 of your 4 ram slots populated? You should ideally have two or four slots populated on your board when it comes to ram to achieve dual channel for the ram. We can't see what the make and model of your PSU is.

500 w 80 plus bronze evga
12 gb of ddr4 2666, i didnt buy 16, then i upgraded to 12.
