I got an EVGA RTX 2060 SC Ultra a few days ago and started gaming today, but the temps are oddly low with the fans not spinning or barely spinning at all for the relatively high load, my previous 960 on the same load would already have the fans way past the 1500 rpm range and going around 68°, but if you check the screenshot here its at 55° with 76% percent usage with fans stopped. Are the new cards really this cool under load?

the card´s usage is only @9%

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730
The 9% indication is the % of the fan speed, which at the right you can see it indicates 0 RPM. The actual usage is at the 2nd row 1st column. I was running cyberpunk at some mid-high settings to test things out so it wouldn't make sense for it to be that low. I'm gonna try the benchmark and come back to you with the results

sorry my fault, but is it 36% or 76% GPU usage?

please run the bench

It didn't recognise my gpu.. thats incredibly weird, it did go through the little game benchmark though. Before installing the GPU i ran DDU and once installed i got the latest drivers. Afterburner as well as windows recognises it perfectly as a 2060. What could this be?

edit: sorry didn't answer the other question, its 76% the other indication was labeled "power" which i was just trying out, i later crosschecked it on afterburner to make sure i wanst mixing them up and i wasnt

uninstall afterburner, restart windows and run the test again, userbenchmark is a bit weird sometimes :)
Yeah now it did go through https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/37024889
Though it says its performing below the average. What can you make of this? I couldn't know if the performance was being limited by thermal throttling because i didn't have any software open, but i can confirm that the fans were spinning through the benchmark

there are lots of overclocked systems in the database, don´t worry.

Your system is running fine and the temperature should be fine too.

You can run a stresstest like furmark to have a look how hot it gets while running @100%

check the Kingston SSD with its SSD Manager, eventually update its firmware with it

Well so i ran furmark and fans ramped up normally and it reached 67C°. Thank god everything is ok! That cyberpunk experience was very very odd for me but i guess i wont worry about it anymore lol. And i had no clue there was drivers for my disk, what a guy, even fixed my SSD! Thank you so much!
