Question Is my GPU throttled by CPU?

Is my CPU i7 3770k@ 4.2Ghz throttleing my GPU GTX 1070@2025/4500Mhz ?

I made some performace test and it shows:

PassMark Advanced 3D Test:

Resolution : 2560x1440
Anti Aliasing : 8x

Test Duration : 20 seconds

Results:

Frame Rate : 57.70 Frames/sec
Frame Latency : Avg: 17.33ms, Min: 0.00ms, Max: 0.00ms
Frame Jitter : 14.52ms (83.79%) <----------------- Is This high?

GPU usage: cca. 99%
CPU usage: cca. 15-40%

And avg score for 1070 is cca. 11000 i get only 6037.

Play some games and look at GPU utilization vs CPU utilization. If the CPU is pegging 100%, and the GPU is more like 50%, then yes you have a bottleneck. Synthetics don't equal real world gaming.

I know that but why my Synthetics test lacking for 5000 points?

Look at the speeds and temps that the cpu and gpu are getting to in games, that should help us see where the problem is.

Can you do this test PassMark with your rig i want to see what score you get with 1060.
My temps are all 50c under Tmax: CPU max.60c GPU max. 70c

Then download and install the newest drivers from:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

and try again.
