[SOLVED] Is my GPU toast?

Black burn marks on the medal on the top part of the photo and some burnt parts on the black squares on the inside of my graphics card, I was playing a game and my screens went black and my PC started to smell like burnt plastic which I'm pretty safely assuming is my GPU. I'm using my PC now with integrated graphics on my mobo and my temps arent running high or anything but the PC will not work with my graphics card installed is this repairable at all or is it a goner? Also any tips for throwing out a GPU? Computer liquidation place or is it fine to just throw in garbage? Thanks. The card is a GTX 970 4GB FTW edition and its about 3-4 years old.

Nope... toast VRMs. They're providing voltage to the GPU core, converting from +12V(PSU) to ~1V(GPU core). Bad luck.
