I recently purchased gtx 1050ti zotac mini 4 gb gpu. The base clock speed is 1303 hz with a boost of 1455 hz. however while playing cs go (reason i upgraded gpu) the clock rate had spiked to 1707 hz. (came to know because my game crashed and msi after burner was running in the background).
Anyways. I think there is something wrong with my setup or the hardware itself as i get the same fps on low and high settings on the same resolution... like 180 fps on low and high settings which doesnt make sense.
Sometimes also the fps randomly spikes to 320 for a second and comes back down.
Whats wrong?

i5 6402p at 2.8ghz
hyper x ddr 4 @ 2.133 hz

450 w psu artis
