Is My graphic card fried or is it issue with motherboard or anyothers..??

Hello,

My Desktop was working fine and when yesterday I started my CPU the screen doesn't show anything...I can hear my Graphic card Fan speeds UP & Down for 3 to 4 times and then works normal , but even then my boot up screen is not even loading. But when I had connected mt monitor to On board video output the screen starts normal..My graphic card is zotac gt240 1gb ddr5..Is this means my graphic card is failed..? Please reply.....

If you could swap graphics cards with someone you know, that could specify if your card is the problem.
