when i played gta v on stock settings sometimes the sky will have random black lines now when i login into windows 10 a minute later screen goes black and i hear sound something beaning unplug i put fresh windows 10 still happens if i take my graphics card out and use my on board graphics my computer works fine

asrock extreme 4 z97

when I log into windows I see my desktop for a minute then black I use the on board graphics and downloaded the drivers still nothing when I went into bios to check make sure everything is ok it stays on for some reason it only goes out when I log into windows

In DxDiag, does it say you have 8GB of RAM? If so, GTA V should not tell you that you only have 512MB, unless you have a physics cap on how much it can use. Make sure that the priority of the GTA V process isn't at low in Task Manager.

in dxdiag i meant under display it said that name was microsoft basic display adapter
i tried to redownload amd driver now in task manager i can see my graphics card and onboard but if i use my graphics card
same thing log in black anything before it works fine even in safe mode i even put it in another slot

i was just messing around and i found out that if i lower my resolution to 1024x768 i can login and see my desktop if im not doing anything the screen stays but if i try to open any program i get a screen with vertical lines they vary color to color depends on what program i open
