Ok my PC works perfectly fine, but once i install my graphics card it won't open windows, post, or anything. Does this mean that my graphics card is bad? I am a first time PC builder so im not very experienced. Thanks for any help.

System Information

CPU Intel i7 7700k processor
Motherboard ASUS Maximus viii hero
GPU GTX 660 ik its old im going to upgrade soon
16GB DDR4 2133 ram
PSU Corsair RM750x

How long have you had it for? Should be more than enough to power that system but I've had a 1000w G2 go bad and kill my R9 290, with the integrated graphics have you been into BIOS and checked what the graphics are set for? Make sure they are on auto or PCI-E then put the card back in.

Ive had my computer operational for about a week now. All graphics settings are set to auto.

Pretty sure, that or the motherboard is my hypothesis. My computer works perfectly fine when the GPU is uninstalled. Im on it right now responding to you guys

Well simple solutions first. Did you plug in the 6pin or 8pin pcie power connector from the psu to the gpu? Are you plugging your display cable into the back of the gpu and not the motherboard? Assuming you have it installed correctly and the pc works on integrated graphics, the gpu is probably dead. Do you have any other pc you could try the 660 in just to be sure?
