Is my graphics card bad?

so ive recently built a new computer, and ive been playing games that im pretty sure my graphics card should handle with ease but my screen will flicker with random colors, and im hearing a weird buzzing noise from my computer everytime i play a game. i have an asus gtx 570 with dcuii. my idle temps for the card are usually from 30-35 celcius, and i think the max ive had is 55-60 celcius. just not sure whats wrong

Reset the four and ensure that power and cable connections are hooked up properly. Sounds like you did not connect something properly

What kind of buzzing? Are you sure the buzzing isn't feedback from your speakers? Also what games are you getting the color flickering?

it was in guitar hero 4 and left 4 dead 2. and yeah im pretty sure its not my speakers, i unpluged them from everything and still heard it.

Have you tried the good ole, get on your hands and knees method. I have to do that sometimes to find an aging noisy fan.

I would put my ear close to the PSU , it could be on its way out.

Screen shouldn't flicker. First install the drivers that came with the card. Then, install the latest drivers from the Nvidia website.

Alternatively you could install a new BIOS/firmware update for the video card, or take it into warranty.

do you know where i can find a bios for my card? i cant find one anywhere
