[SOLVED] Is my graphics card dead.. probably

Hi,
So my graphics card doesn't work.
This is how it happened...

I was playing fortnite (don't judge) when my computer just powers off completely and refuses to turn on again. I open the side panel and unplug everything except the motherboard and CPU connectors. I power on my computer and it works. I try plug in my gpu and it doesn't work. My card has 2 6 pin connectors so I tried plugging only one in. I do this and the system boots. Turns out my left one doesn't work and the system just doesn't turn on when it's plugged in. Halp
My graphics card is the msi overclocked hd 7950. I was gonna sell it and get a Rx 580 but I guess that ain't happening. I have already listed the card for sale but came here to see if there was a easy fix.

Sounds more like the power supply. What power supply do you have?

What brand and model of power supply is installed? It could be the issue rather than your GPU.

Sounds like a bad card with a short somewhere presuming sufficient PSU.

Btw just to clarify, it was the psu's fault. It was a dodgy thermaltake one (not 80+). Changed that now and also got a rx 580.
