Is my gtx 970 strange ?

So guys i just did a heaven ungine benchmark for my new ASUS GTX 970 STRIX and the card was up to 1455 mhz even do i didnt overclock it and when i closed the application the fans dont go to silent mode even to the temps are 45 degrees Celcius why is this ?

adjust your fan curve using your GPU management software (GPU Tweak is ASUS' solution if you have that installed)
