6,7 year old 160 gb drive with issues, yes replace it. You can buy 500gb solid state drives now for like $80.

Sounds like it's time for an upgrade. It has lived a long life, you might want to salvage the data before all is lost if you haven't already. My friend was getting errors similar to yours and he used that drive specifically for Steam games. Every time he'd try to download/update a game it'd say "Download Failed. Corrupt Disk", so it was obvious he was due for an upgrade.
