Is my hard drive in Promise 24 TB Raid system dead?

I was working on a project in Davince Resolve with my project being saved on my 24 TB Promise Pegasus Drive.

All of a sudden resolve crashed and I couldnt locate the file. The promise showed a drive in red, however the SMART status of the drive in Promise Utility shows its status as ok, and just told me to rebuild the drive.

Is my drive really dead? or was it just a one off error that a rebuild will solve?

Your volume should be OK. Let it rebuild. Yours is similar to mine. My T8C-S12.TB3 RAID volume showed a BAD drive while working but never disappeared from my computer. The rebuild took about 6hrs
