So I have a 6ish year old HDD from Hiachi, today all the sudden my computer went haywire and I went to restart it only to run into a perma-boot BIOS screen.
After trial and error I narrowed it down to my HDD (my windows is on an SSD, and without the HDD connected it will boot fine).
If I try and connect the HDD same thing happens, ive tried new SATA cables and everything.
If I try plugging in the HDD once the system is already booted, windows won't boot again until I unplug it.
The only weird thing is the BIOS shows it working fine, and shows it with exactly how much storage it has (I heard dead HDDs show 0 for storage)
Thanks ahead of time!
