Question Is my HDD dead?

Hey i really need help here. Last night i was gaming And before i went to bed i shut down my pc useing the power button. I woke up turned on my pc And it said reboot And select Proper boot device... Is it posible that my HDD died? Its WD 1tb HDD that i bought 3 months ago And it was new when i bought it. When i go into the bios it doesnt even detect my HDD. Is it dead?

first try another sata cable from board to hdd you could also ask a friend to test it using a hdd portable case as secondary drive how it is detect .

I tries to use a diferent sata cable. Still not detecting.

did bios detect it since the os does not and could you try another sata port on the board if it is not showing in bios try to have it test on another system even as external one .

No it doest show it in the bios not even in the different pc. Im pretty sure its dead.

ask for a rma now and tell them it does not show on any pc and you could not test it with data lifeguard diagnostic .
