Is my HDD dying?

I've had this HDD ever since I got my first pc, which is probably around 3 years now. Recently, I noticed it's making a noise which kinda sounds like a fan very lightly brushing against something. I turned all of the fans off and it's definitely coming from inside the HDD. I'm not seeing any slow downs while using my system or launching any programs either. I've only just noticed this noise but it's very subtle and could have been going for a little while now, should I look into a new HDD?
The hard drive is a WD 1TB Blue.

Did you try tightening the screws which hold the HDD in place? Perhaps its just vibrating against the drive cage.

Unfortunately, it's using a screwless HDD cage so that wouldn't be an option for me

And have you checked if it's not the PSU fan that's making the sound? Or the CPU/GPU cooler?

CPU cooler is basically silent, the PSU only has the occasional coil whine and I put my ear right up to the HDD and it's definitely coming from there

Then yeah, you should probably consider a new HDD, after backing up all the important data of course.

Check health of your HDD. Use HDtune health. Post screenshot.
