Solution USAFRet Jun 29, 2021 No matter what CDI says, your hard drive is dying. ALL hard drives are dying, as soon as you take them out of the box. Your real question is...."When will my HDD die?" That is completely unknown. An HDD that shows ZERO signs of bad operation or Caution from CDI can die tomorrow. I've personally had that happen. Your next move should be - "How do I protect the data on it?" The question after that is - "What SATA III SSD do I replace it with?"
