[SOLVED] Is my HDD failing?

I occasionally hear some relatively quiet noise from what may be my HDD but I assumed that was normal. I installed AIDA64 to check it and it says the life span is 100%. Is that what it's supposed to be? Someone said that it should be at N/A otherwise you would have to get a new drive soon.

See if the HD manufacturer (Seagate, WD, etc) has a tool to check the status. That will be the most accurate interpretation of the SMART data.

Definitely, get a second opinion with some of the tools listed below. Crystaldiskinfo is good.
