I think that my HDD is failing.

My PC Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (build 7600)
Motherboard: MSI K9N Neo v2/v3
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (Brisbane)
GPU: MSI VN220GT-MD1G DDR2 (nVidia GeForce GT220 1GB)
HDD: Hitachi 160GB SATA2 8MB Cache
RAM Memory: 2GB DDR2

While it's loading it's slow and it makes noise (something like wrrr or grrr NOT clicking)
And the main issue is when I play some games they all LAG no matter on what settings
I play them. For example Crysis Warhead runs smoothly at the beginning but after 5-6min
it starts to LAG until it freezes completely. Prototype LAGS constantly and I think it's cause
of the too many objects in the game, some of them don't show up on time, like trees etc.
Even Alien Shooter which is game for crap PCs LAGS on my PC.
Also when I watch some movies they LAG.

This is my new GPU and it doesn't have any problems.

Here are some HD Tune 4.60 PRO tests:

Benchmark after playing Crysis Warhead: http://i52.tinypic.com/2s6kmqp.jpg

Please give your opinion on this problem.

i had similar symptoms after adding ram in on my older msi am2 motherboard. after defaulting the bios values "ram speeds got set to 400mhz not the 800mhz the sticks are designed for. and the Raid 0 feature was turned on i was seeing an extra raid config dos splash screen for an instance during boot up hard drive would transfer no more than 2mbps and not at the 40-60mbps its suppose to transfer at.

after recorrecting the rams operating speed and disabling anything with raid in the name system is not operating as speedily as it was in the beginning.

maby?
