Good day!

So my laptop is dead already for about a year and I pulled out the hard disk. I plugged it in my computer as an internal disk again, and checked it using HD TUNE Pro. Here are the results:

Can I still trust this drive? Thank you!

Hi there sorxrob

I would also say that you can use it for storing non crucial data.

Apart from that, you can back up the data stored on it and use some third party tool in order to write zeros on it. After that, you can just retest it and see whether you will get similar results.

Yes, if used for storing unimportant data. If you are going to be storing important information on that drive, maybe a new drive would be a better option, especially for the sake of 40 pounds for a new 1TB drive.
