Is my i5 2500k good for gaming?

Is my pc still good for new games? Should I maybe upgrade?

My specs:
Gigabyte Ga B75M d3h
Core i5 2500k@3.5ghz
12gb ram corsair veageance (8+4)
Radeon R7 260X Gigabyte OC 2gb Triangle Cool
Windows 8.1 Professional
600w corsair psu
1TB samsung harddrive

It's still ok for modern games, but you would need to turn the settings down a bit on the more demanding games. Your graphics card is the weakest component, so it's the obvious thing to upgrade if you want to be able to play at higher settings.

pete_101 is correct, your CPU isn't a serious issue. It is still a relatively high performance CPU. The GPU, however, is considerably slower and you would benefit by upgrading it.
