Is my I7 4790k considered good?

Hello everyone,

I want to ask you if my I7 4790k is a "silicon lottery winner". It is overclocked to 4.5Ghz on all cores at 1.185v. Aida64 raises the temps. to a max of around 66c.

Yes the I7-4790k is still a fantastic chip and is still considered one of the best gaming chips on the market.

Sounds like a good sample to me! From what I've read, 4.5ghz seems like the sweet spot for Haswell before you start making unfavorable trades of power and heat for the next few clock cycles. If you can do it stable with less than 1.2v and low temps under stress testing, then you're in really good shape.
