It's unlikely, what resolutions are you running and what factors are making you worry/wonder? What the info on the rest of your rig? My gut reaction is that you the 4890 may be holding it back. The Q8300 has aged pretty well in gaming terms

I'm really on the fence with this the more I think about it now....

There may not be much in it between the GPU and CPU as to which what over shadows what, it's probably a balancing act at 1080 which makes it such a tough choice. Given the reasonable second hand prices of other processors which can drop into your mobo it might be tempting to do this. Equally I think it may be worth seeing how much you can get for the 4890 and offsetting that against a newer graphics card. As it's a P5 Mobo perhaps invest in the graphics card now in the acceptance/knowledge that at a later date the mobo/CPU will need upgrading in any event so at least you have one part of the rig that is current.... assuming you intend to continue upgrading your rig rather than buy a new PC later down the road

You know how to create a dilema don't you? ;)

Go 560 or 570, I don't think the GTX295 is D11 compliant (needs checking) and given the 560/70's are newer they are probably going to stand a longer test of time with games. I have the 560Ti and it's nicely overclocked to pretty much 570 standards and given the jump from 560 to the 570 I sat and thought about this and opted to do just this. For your info I run Skyrim on Maxed out on 1080 (although do have an i5 2500K overclocked) with my 560Ti. At least that gives you an idea in your mind for when you choose at a later date to change your mobo/CPU as to what you can expect to achieve with a 560Ti, sometimes it's hard to make a decision based on stats alone
