Question Is my IP address determined by my router or by my computer?

We use an ATT cellular hot spot for internet, if I were to get another hot spot, would that change our IP address? We could use another anyway, our Netgear Nighthawk is 4 years old

On that side of it, your ISP is deciding. On the local side it can vary based on what is set to do DHCP. As far as being banned somewhere there is more to it than that and forum rules prohibit helping with issues such as this.

Contact the site community manager(usually they have an email address for this) to appeal the ban and explain the situation. Whether they lift it or not is up to them. We will not assist with bypassing a ban. Thread closed
