Hi guys
So I have a lenovo g710 with the motherboard model : Ginkgo 7A1. I already have an HDD in my Laptop and i would like to add this SSD : (http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Notebooks-Ultrabooks-SMS200S3-60G/dp/B00COFMPAM).

First of all will the SSD be compatible and will it run along with my already owned HDD??
Thank you.

Hey there, mustardmamba.

From what I was able to find, you should have a slot available for that mSATA SSD. You could take a look at this thread: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-B-and-G-Series-Notebooks/G710-Haves-M2-port-for-SSD/td-p/1837568.
Just to be on the safe side here, you could always contact the laptop manufacturer's customer support and ask if there are any compatibility issues. Another option would be to get a regular SSD and an HDD caddy to replace the Optical Drive and still have an SSD + HDD combo. Just ask for the maximum SSD storage capacity that is compatible with the laptop before you decide what to do.

Hope that helps.
