[SOLVED] Is my laptop cpu upgradable

My cpu package is Socket S1 (638) and my laptop is a Toshiba satellite L305D-S5900

First of all.. yes you can change your cpu in your laptop... But on the other side laptops are very very very picky on upgrades... so you would need to find a specific mobile cpu for that laptop.

EDIT: I'm looking for the Socket S1 (638) CPUS and I can't find any, most of them are sending me to aliexpress which is a dodgy website.

Additionally, you're unlikely to see any real difference, no matter what you change it to.

This, from many years ago, when that laptop was almost 'new'.

Whats the best processor for the S1 socket?

just curious, seeing as i just bought a laptop with that type of socket.
