Ok thanks but if i install a AMD® A10-4600M processor would i be able to run games like Dayz mod? It ran playable on my current laptop so i guess it would. Would you reccomend a AMD® A10-4600M processor or a AMD® A10-5750M processor. I checked the graphics components and oddly even though the A10-5750M has better specs overall the 4600m still got more fps in games.... 5750M: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8650G.87916.0.html
4600m: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-7660G.69830.0.html

How is this possible?

False. I upgraded my old compaq C700 from a Pentium T2310 to a Core 2 T7700 and my Asus laptop, I can upgrade my i5 2430m to an i7 2630qm. As long as the cpu is not a BGA socket, there is a chance that an upgrade is possible. It depends on what other CPU's were available to a certain model line.
