is My Laptop Dead?

I got a Toshiba L550

i3 4gb ram ati gpu

it stopped booting

when id boot my pc it would turn off after a few seconds, i opened it up, reconected everything, and now it stays on, but there is no image, fans do work, hdd is spinning, trying with just one memory, shouldnt my laptop beep?

Are you able to see anything, like a Toshiba logo when your computer starts? It almost sounds like the graphics driver has gone corrupt and needs to be reinstalled in safe mode.

No Black screen, on build in display and in external vga connected, tried both with vga and no vga, no image whatsoever

Keyboard is disconnected,

yes i do see the plugged in led and when i click power on the led also opens

Shouldn't i hear a beep?

Not always. I know HP laptops have both, but I have no idea how it decides which one to use. I checked through the manual at Toshiba and it says to try removing the battery and the charger, and then press the power button to remove any lasting charge. Then insert the battery and try to start the laptop with only the battery. If that does not work plug in the charger and try with both. If no go then try with just the charger.

After that I am out of ideas.
