Question Is my laptop savable? I am missing screws and don't know what to do.

Hello everyone, hope everyone is safe. Lately, I've been missing a few screws on my laptop. I will present a picture to illustrate what I mean.

As you can see, the screws that would've kept it together is missing and now whenever I close my screen, i have to hold down the left corner of the laptop in hope to not mess anything up.

Is there anything I can do here?

Replace the screw?

From the images though, I suspect the hinge element has cracked, putting pressure on the overall chassis, rather than simply missing a screw.

I had a laptop years ago where this had happened. Really nothing you can do, short of replacing the hinge

Certainly, you should be able to find a replacement screw.
If the screw had stripped the anchoring plastic, you may need to improvise, perhaps with a threaded metal or wood screw.

But, I have seen that symptom before, and it was caused by the internal battery envelope expanding.

You may want to remove a screw from a less critical position to use near the hinge. Further, as mentioned screw kits are readily available on ebay.
