is my led pc monitor dying?

i have samsung LED monitor S23b300H.

i recently noticed the screen brightness have reduced compare to when i first bought it few years back. Still using Analog port since i dont have hdmi board or gpu card.
I still a month ago, i used to watch n do work at 75% brightness using its own ECO SAVING Mode. but now i have to turn it off to get the same results.

anyway to check how far it have reduced, i.e. if it have reduced.
they is no flicking or anything like that, just the brightness have reduced. i have even tried at full brightness with no or little results compare to at 85% brightness n 85% contrast.

it could very well just be it dying.. but it also could be your cable.. have you changed it recently? also have you checked if it is plugged in all the way?? try checking both the power cord AND the monitor-tower cable.. hope this helps

anyway to check now much more time i have left on my led monitor.
The cable is tight so no problem their.
anyway software or any method which i can try out to confirm on this.
