Question Is my M.2 drive faulty, or does the problem lie elsewhere?

I recently upgraded my old slow HDD to a new Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus NVMe drive, which also my boot drive with a fresh installation of windows. Since the upgrade, my system suffers frequent BSOD's and game crashes. They occur particularly often when attempting to install large files, like games, but have also happened when idling at desktop. I've not managed to download more than 10 gigs before it inevitably crashes my system. I've remounted the drive several times to make sure the connection to the board wasn't the issue, but no changes. System crashes even occur when downloading games to my other drives. Any guidance is appreciated, as I've spent the better part of a week troubleshooting the issue, to no avail.

Does Sabrent supply a pcie driver for their units? I know Samsung does.

Not that I've found. Their website doesn't have any resources for my product outside of a pdf for the instruction booklet

Are the chipset drivers current?

2 x 8Gb DDR4 3000MHz
Sabrent 1TB Rocket 4 Plus NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD


There's a Rocket control panel that monitors drive health, temp, etc. if that's what you mean. I have the most recent firmware installed for the drive
