hello recently i purchased a new psu and new casing but after successfully assembling my pc when i press the power button nothing happens , so i tried all possible ways to troubleshoot but faced with a failure every time so i decided to test the psu by paperclipping and it was running perfectly on that test but when i plugged it on the mobo same problem persist , but the Green led mobo light still lits but nothing happens when i press the power up button so does this indicate the mobo or cpu is busted ? 🙁
my pc got
i3 2120 , Asus p8 h61 mlx3 r2.0
Sapphire r9 270 , 8 gb ddr3 ram , TT smart se 530w psu
thanks 🙁 any help will be appreciated

Hi

Read toms FAQ

Most likely problem power switch on wrong pins

If not , then read up on bread boarding out of case
Motherboard, CPU + heat sink fan , psu, 1 stick of ram, screen & keyboard

Touch power on switch pins with a screwdriver
or buy a PC test kit consisting of power switch , reset switch & miniature speaker &. LEDs
