Here is my issue. my pc's power supply broke a few blades. so i have to replace it. I am sure I hooked everything up correctly. My pc powers on. all ram is set in sockets correctly, the fans turn on and the GPU is set correctly, its not my first rodeo building pc's But like I said everything powers up. it just wont boot, monitors show nothing. neither GPU or the Mobo's on board VGA. is the mother board bad? or do i need to replace the CPU? how can i test and tell? every now and then I MAY get lucky and the pc boots up. but thats like an estreamly low chance. it only started happening after I messed with the PSU

Solution
Check to make sure everything is seated correctly. Including all the power cables and cords. Remove and re-seat the ram and video card.

If still no boot. Take photos so you know where everything is plugged in and then unplug every disk and the video card (video card to be removed from PC completely). Then try again.

If still no boot. Try to track down another similar PC so you can swap your parts over to check them. If you can't do this, take your PC to a shop to have it diagnosed. No point in buying a new CPU if you have a bad motherboard (for example).
