Is my Monitor Broken?

So, I own a 1440p monitor, when I started my computer I noticed the resulution was a bit weird, so I checked the settings and it was at 1080p, and I can't change it, it's not an option, I go to nVidia control panel and it says this monitor doesn't support 1440p?! WTF IS GOING ON?!

check if you have the 364.47 driver for the gpu nvidia remove them for system issue also you may have to set the screen resolution manualy .

Scout did you read what I said? I CHECKED IT AND I CAN'T CHANGE IT MANUALLY TO 1440P
