Is my monitor defective?

I just received my Dell U2715H monitor today and while it's a really nice monitor, the color temperature seems uneven, as well as the backlighting even after calibration. Considering this is an IPS monitor and they're known to have IPS glow, I'm wondering if based on these pictures I should return it. (The most annoying flaw seems to be a slightly pink hue in the upper left area of the screen)

Yeah, I thought so. Pretty disappointing, I knew this was common with Dell's 1440p monitors so I'm not even sure it's worth exchanging.

Welcome to "Dell Hell." I would not exchange it and look for an Asus or Viewsonic panel.

I was transferred 3 times, and then on the 4th was transferred to a robo agent who thanked me for calling 'GOODBYE'...you have to be kidding me haha.
