Is my monitor defective?

Hello community, I bought this bundle and I LOVE it so much but i'm having two problems. Colors are displaying in what I can only describes as shades and layers and I don't know if that is the monitors fault or the application's. Not to mention I already have a pixel that just stayed blue but as of typing this I can't see it so maybe its just having a hard time staying synced? it was blue during BIOS startup and after I logged in. I attached some links to show what i'm talking about. I can't wait a week for returns because I have classes starting in 8 days for college and I NEED this for class. I can honestly let bygones be bygones with the dead pixel but i'm more scared that more dead pixels will arrive and that the color shades are just because of this display being defective which I can imagine leading to alot more problems, also to note when i'm gaming the color shade problem disappears or has very little spotting.

The shades, that can be some fault with color depth. Try updating the drivers if they are not the latest ones.

Thank you for the reply, I have my Nvidia drivers updated, are there other drivers I might need to update? Also, if the fault is with color depth is that a just a native problem with my display or a defect?

I dont think so.

What you can do is right click the desktop, go to the sreen definitions (idk the correct name of the option since i have my windows in portuguese) , then to adapter settings,then something like "list all the modes", and select one that has the highest color depth (number of bits).

I messed with the color settings for a bit and while it didnt solve anything I found brightness makes the problem more severe so increasing brightness and/or gamma made it worse while increasing contrast made it smaller but still there
