I am planning to buy a HP 22es which has a response time of 7ms. So i was wondering if this is good enough for gaming? i will be sticking with this monitor for about 2-3 years. Bonus question: Does this monitor have good color accuracy? Will i be able to edit videos and photos comfortably on this monitor?

My planned pc specs:
GTX 1060 6GB
Ryzen 5 1600
8gb ddr4 2400mhz ram

Solution
If u plan to do some serious gaming, that 7ms response time monitor wont do. in graphically less demanding games, u will have screen tearing. so cap the fps to 60 in the in-game settings or enable V sync triple buffering.
It seems just fine. It has a refresh rate of 60Hz, so you'll only be able to see at 60 frames and below, anything above 60 will not be noticable, but I don't suspect that's an issue. As for color accuracy, someone more educated about that may be able to respond. For a 'temporary' monitor, it seems just fine.
