I had my motherboard on my desk and spilled a good amount of water.
It took me a second because i was worried about my phone for some reason. I then picked up the motherboard but by then the water was on part of the board and still running. Then i came to my senses and unplugged the power supply. I dont know if the motherboard is dead or not because it never suddenly turned off, and the water only touched a small area of the bottom of the board.

If anyone has suggestions on how to dry it and when to turn it on thatd be nice, thanks.

Solution
Oh just wipe it off gently, and then if you worry let it air dry for an hour. Then just plug everything in and see if it works. You shouldn't be worried if it still runs. If it pops and burns, well you just shorted your motherboard. Remember to let dry all of the areas water touched, if it was in like cracks too

Luckly it was just water. Let it dry over night at an angle so nothing can pool anywhere and you should be alright. If you're really concerned you can put it in rice to absorb more of the water. Just make sure to check every inch of it before plugging it back in.
