Question Is my motherboard broken?

Hi, I have just built my very first PC and am having some problems.
My PC was working just fine for roughly 3 hours and then suddenly I lost connection to the monitor.

These are the things I have done to test components

  • I have checked all connections within my build and they are all secure
  • I have tried different monitors and the same display message occurs (I know my monitors works because it connects via HDMI to my PS4 and laptop via HDMI)
  • I have swapped the display port connections with HDMI and still no signal detected
  • I have changed GPU slots on my motherboard and again no signal
  • I have tried two different GPU's and on both GPU's the fans operate but still no signal input (still don't know if this eliminates the GPU as the problem)
  • I tried connecting straight to the motherboard with HDMI but my CPU does't have an integrated graphics card
  • I have also shorted the jumper pins to try and reset the CMOS by placing metal screwdriver in between the two pins while the system was shut down. This didn't work either.
  • I tried booting my computer with 1 8GB ram stick rather than 2 and that didn't work
  • I have took out the SSD and only had my HD connected
This leads me to believe that it may be due to a fault in the motherboard
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

What model is the motherboard?

Have you tried googling the model of your motherboard and no video signal looking for similar issues?

Did you install the graphics drivers while it was working?
