Question Is my Motherboard burned?

I was playing Siege and my computer turned off in a sudden, I could smell some burning smell coming from it. A few seconds later, it rebooted itself but it took a long time to load into the Windows login screen. I smelled that burning smell again so I pulled off the power immediately.

Minutes later, I powered on the PC and it loaded into Windows slowly. Then, I smelled the burning smell again so I turned it off.

I thought it was related to the PSU or motherboard. But my PC can be turned on again so it could not be the problem from the PSU.

I opened up my PC and looked for any burnt sites on the motherboard. I am not sure whether it is burnt in the photo, can you please kindly help me on it?

I am not a native English speaker so sorry for my bad grammar
P.S. my motherboard is Gigabyte G1 Sniper B7

Yes it's burnt.
I would be looking at replacing the motherboard.
I wouldn't attempt a repair on that.

But is it true that the PSU is not burnt if the PC can be rebooted after having a burning smell?

I think there is a very good chance that the PSU is fine.
Although IF the PSU ITSELF smells burnt I would replace it.
If the PSU DOESN'T smell burnt.....I think it's probably fine.
Put your nose up to it and sniff.

The PSU doesn’t smell burnt, I can save some money for that

The PSU can be the cause for the board to be burnt so full specs with a make and model of PSU are in order.
