I currently have a HP 18E7 MXL509118V Motherboard and I'm planning on upgrading my PSU upto 500 watts(because I'm buying an AMD Rax580 8gb Graphics Card)

Well I just found out that ny PC is indeed HP's business line-up desktops
And I can't afford to change my Motherboard and buy a new graphics card at the same time.

One strategy that I've used, during 'economy times' in the past, has been to specify a system configuration completely, down to the part numbers and suppliers, and pick-up one item every two weeks to a month--depending on the cost of that item.

Before you know it, you have a full-blown system.

Doing it that way gives you the advantage of the sales and discount pricing that often comes-up, over time; and, starting with a case ans PSU gives you the ability to do a bit of a change-up on things like processors, memory and GPU, as the build evolves.

Sorry...I missed that. Then you just need thermal paste to re-mount the heatsink after the swap.

The QVL for the MB does state that the processor is compatible, so you're fine on that count....just get (if you don't already have it) compatible memory.
