Hello. So my pc has an Veriton X4640G motherboard and it uses an hard disk so I am into buying an ssd but I dont really know if my pc supports ssd and even if it do which type of ssd it does.
If any of you know and has an ssd reccommendation it can be around 256 and 512 gb capacity and would be good if it is arond 50 dollars.

I’d avoid a weird brand from Amazon. And that shape won’t fit your motherboard. Since you’re in AU, try these examples from a reputable retailer:

https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/hard-drives-&-ssds/solid-state-drives-(ssd)/73992-ct240bx500ssd1

Also try PC Case Gear, PLE, and Centrecom. Much less chance of getting a counterfeit item than Amazon or eBay.

I am actually not in Australia I did it like that since you are living there and will be easier for you to look at it. The second link you said looks fine but do I can replace my hdd with the second ssd you said at home or I need equipment that you do not really have on home. And thanks for your recommendations but do you know where do i need to place it on? I really could not see where I need to place it in my motherboard since the hdd is too big and would really appreciate if you tell me about that.

Also to mention, I checked the second one and all I saw is people using the ssd with an Laptop. And I dont use a laptop and use an Desktop Pc and I do not really know if you misunderstood and thought I was using a laptop. It is for laptop or desktop or for both?

No worries. The 2.5” SSD shape mimics a regular laptop hard drive, so it mounts on a hard drive bracket and uses hard drive SATA cables.

Replacing a HDD containing Windows would involve using drive cloning software that usually comes with the SSD (or is downloaded from the vendor website) and a second connector cable, either via another SATA port on the motherboard or a USB-to-SATA adapter cable.

I get the impression that you are not technically minded (apologies if I’m incorrect), so perhaps paying a professional technician to do the swap/migration would be money well spent.
