[SOLVED] Is my motherboard compatible with dual channel memory?

Hello,
Recently i just bought a 1070 and i'm getting lower fps than expected, 25-30fps lower than the benchmarks using the exact same hardware
At first i thought my i5 6600k was bottlenecking the gpu
After searching the internet i found out that the problem was that I'm using one 8GB DDR4 memory in single channel,
I've seen that using dual channel memory increases the performance drastically so I'm thinking about buying another 8gb RAM
And here comes the confusion, my motherboard is a ASUS H110m-a it is a low budget motherboard from Asus, it only has 2 sticks of ram, everywhere I search about dual channel memory I only see people teaching how to use it with those motherboards with 4 sticks of ram
I can't find if this motherboard will be compatible with dual channel or not

It's compatible with dual channel but you should have a Z170 mobo because the cpu you have is a K which features a boost that only happens with Z chipsets.

Your motherboard does support dual channel ram.
It has only two ram slots.

You need a second stick to enable dual channel operation.
In theory, you could buy a second 8gb stick and have 16gb operating in dual channel mode.
There is a caveat...
The second stick, even with the same part number may not play nice with the old.

Intel is relatively good about tolerating mismatched ram.
I put your odds of success at perhaps 90%

To be certain, buy a two stick kit in the capacity you want.

Then, also, do not expect any magical difference in performance if you are using a discrete graphics card.

Yeah, I suspected that, I'm gonna have to buy a new motherboard
And i'm using a gtx 1070, I've seen a few videos like this one where the dual channel actually makes a incredible difference
