Is my motherboard compatible with the GPU I wish to buy?

I've got a Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P motherboard and I want to buy an ATI Radeon HD7750 GPU. I've heard that the 7750 requires a PCI-E 3.0? Is that true, does my motherboard have that?

What Brett is saying is that yes the GPU is PCI-E 3.0, BUT its fully backwards compatible with PCI-e 2 and PCI-e 1.1. So it will work just fine.
