Is my motherboard compatible with this cpu (Intel Core 2 Duo e8200)

Hi, my computer stoped working. And i realized that it was the cpu. It was. I tried with my brothers cpu.(Same lga(775)). And i wan't to get a new one, so is Intel Core 2 duo e8200 6mb cache 2.66 ghz cpu compatible with my MSi G41M-E43 Motherboard? I hope you will answer

Yep, it's right on the list: http://www.msi.com/support/mb/G41M-E43.html#support-cpu. You don't even need a BIOS update if you don't want to go through the trouble of flashing it, although you should do so to stay up-to-date if it's not already version 7C.

I think my bios is up to date. I am only going to buy this cheap cpu because i am going to save money to a new computer later on
