I have a ASUS Prime B450M A/CSM, and I was wondering if I need a bios update to use my Ryzen 5 1600 AF.

Then why isn’t my pc posting, I’ve tried each ram sticks in different slots. I tried taking out the GPU, I made sure the 4 pin cpu and 24 pin are in correctly. I even reinstalled my cpu. And nothing will show up on my monitor. I know the monitor is good because it works with my Xbox.

Because the non-G Ryzen CPUs don't have integrated graphics. You need a graphics card.

So if I try to post with my cpu, cpu cooler, ram, PSU, and graphics card it’ll work?

Yes.
The monitor cable needs to be plugged into the graphics card, not the ports on the back of the mobo.
