I wonder if my motherboard is compitatable with a GIGABYTE GTX 950 OC because i want to buy one while i still can.

Here are my specs
Motherboard - ASRock G41M-VS3
CPU - Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650
Current GPU - AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
Ram - ADATA PC3-10700 (667 MHZ) 8x2 GB
Memory - I don't understand about memory a lot so i'll just show a picture - https://gyazo.com/3c35145c6c178b2aadad4d41248ba930

Thanks for the help.

Possibly, possibly not. Certainly it has the necessary PCIe slot and support in that way, but the G41 chipset IS fairly old and you may need a bios update if one is available that is recent enough to make it compatible with that card.

Typically, it should be fine. Technically, we've seen a number of older boards that don't have UEFI bios that would not work correctly with Nvidia 900 series or newer cards. The latest bios for that board is back in 2012, so it's likely it could go either way.

I'd probably recommend something more like a GTX 750TI or GTX 760, but those may not be easy to find anymore.

I think the chances that it doesn't work are high enough that unless you are willing to upgrade the board and cpu in the event that it does not work I would avoid buying one and stick to something older with legacy support.
