Is my motherboard dead or my psu

my pc turns on for a split second then off, no fans turn on only my gpu fan spins a little bit then off again.

So since my gpu seems like its getting power I'm assuming my motherboard is dead.

I already repluged in all cables and switched out memory sticks but still same issue.

Could be either or something 3rd, least painful way is ti try with another (adequate) PSU.

Just a thought - what happens if you remove the GPU and then turn the PC on?

Are your case fans powered directly by the PSU, or they connected to the motherboard?
Try disconnecting the power button's cable from the front panel headers (and use a flat bladed screwdriver to short both of the pins instead, which will turn it on)
